The Voice Newspaper, Britain's oldest black newspaper, held its 2nd Black Business Fair at Fairfield Halls, Croydon on Saturday 7 December 2019. The event showcased a spectrum of black owned businesses from around the UK, of which NZINGA Natural Spring Water was one.
This is our first London based event, since officially launching NZINGA in July 2019, and we were all excited at the prospect of what the day would bring.
We were also in a festive mood as a local choir serenaded us with Christmas carols in the background.
There was a steady flow of visitors to the event all day. Visitors to our stand were intrigued to find out what made NZINGA so different.
The water was scrutinised, and we responded to a barrage of questions about the quality of the water, the source, the water sector, the environmental impact of plastics etc.
Those who sampled the water gave it a big thumbs-up and were pleased to know that the bottle, cap and label was fully recyclable.
We made several promising leads of possible stockists and were especially pleased that The Voice newspaper were happy to be one of our brand ambassadors, by taking away a sizable number of free samples to share with colleagues as well as purchasing some bottles of NZINGA.
All in all, the Business Fair proved to be a resounding success where we mixed business and it was all our pleasure!
